How your data will be used

Enfield Council stores your personal information securely in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018. Your provider and the LA is required to retain the information for up to 7 years for audit purposes in accordance with HMRC and the Department of Education.

We may need to share your personal details with children’s centres, schools, other services and childcare providers to further support your funding placement. Your information may be shared with other parts of government, other councils and our delivery partners to deliver you services or if required by law. If you are using our text service Text Anywhere, in addition to Enfield Council’s Privacy Policy, you are also agreeing to Text Anywhere’s Privacy Policy, where your data will be stored for 60 days. This information may also be shared for monitoring, auditing and evaluation purposes.

The council will process your personal data in accordance with the data protection law. You have rights in respect of your data including the right to be informed of our uses, the right to access, the right to rectification and erasure, the right to restrict/object to processing and the right not to be subject to automated decision making or profiling.
