A406 overnight partial closures
Transport for London are implementing overnight closures (between 10pm and 5am) to enable resurfacing works at the junction of Telford Road, Bowes Road and Wilmer Way on 30 August, 31 August and 1 September.
During the closures, eastbound traffic on the North Circular will be on diversion. Westbound traffic will be unaffected.

Special event closures
We provide road closures for street parties, large public events and play streets. Roads will only be closed between 10am and 8pm. You must submit your application at least 6 weeks before the event.

Street party closures
You can apply for a road closure to organise a street party in your local community.

Event closures
You can apply for a road closure to organise an event.
There is a charge for processing the traffic order and providing signs and barriers.

Play street closures
You can apply for a road closure to organise a play street in your local community.
We fully support play streets, which can provide a low cost, valuable play opportunity for children and their community, allowing children to play outside and socialise.
Play streets are usually held on a monthly basis and the road closure traffic order allows up to 12 months of events to take place.

Applications are considered and processed twice a year. Your application must be received by 31 October for a play street commencing from 1 February the following year or by 30 April for a play street commencing from 1 August. No charge is made if you apply by these dates.
Applications can be made after this time, but if approved a charge will be made for processing the traffic order.
