Pay a penalty charge notice (PCN)

You may receive a penalty charge notice (PCN), also known as a parking ticket or fine, for not following parking restrictions or traffic regulations. Notices may be left on your vehicle or be sent to you in the post.

You can pay a discounted charge (half of the full charge) if we receive your payment early, as described in the PCN.

If you do not pay the full charge by the given date you will receive a reminder called a Notice to Owner and can face further action. For more information on what happens if you do not pay a PCN, refer to London Councils or London Tribunals: Environment and Traffic Adjudicators.

If your car has been towed, you can find out more on vehicle removals.

You can also appeal a penalty charge notice if you feel that you have been charged unfairly.
