A new 10-year housing delivery and placemaking plan

In February 2026, the Cabinet agreed a new Housing Delivery and Placemaking Plan. It aims to deliver thousands of affordable homes over the next 10 years.

The plan sets out a clear, long-term approach to speed up housing delivery and create high-quality places for residents. It includes a 10-year list of sites where new homes will be built. It also supports our successful funding bid to the Greater London Authority (GLA) through the London Affordable Homes Programme.

A key focus is to increase the number of social rented homes for Enfield residents. This includes:

Many schemes also include homes for private sale, Shared Ownership, and Shared Equity.

Naked House homes are also available at discounted prices for first-time buyers in Enfield.

Our Affordable Housing Programme Framework helps us deliver new homes more quickly and efficiently.
