Council seeks court injunction to ban car meets
KB-2024-003851 London Borough of Enfield -v- Persons Unknown.
The council has applied to the High Court for an injunction in the above case concerning car cruising across the borough.
An Injunction Order (with a Power of Arrest attached to it), to prevent car cruising meets across the borough was updated and granted on 5 December 2025 and comes into effect at 12am on 20 December 2025 in respect of all Defendants and thereafter shall remain in force for one year, until 11:59pm on 20 December 2026.
Any person claiming to be affected by the Injunction Order may file and serve evidence but shall do so not later than 4pm on 23 October 2026.
