Use or buy council housing land for your home, garden or parking
If you need space to park your vehicle, grow vegetables, put up a shed, or build a porch or extension next to your house in Enfield, the council might own the land you’re interested in.
The council's policy is to grant residents licences to park or cultivate, or even sell land that it no longer needs. You can check if the property is already on the market or under offer. Otherwise, you can apply to use or buy the land.

Extending your lease
It can be hard to sell your home if the lease has less than 95 years left. When it drops below 80 years, it significantly affects the property’s market value and the premium you might have to pay.
See information on how to extend your lease with Enfield Council.
