
Government funded employment support
STEP is funded by the government’s Get Britian Working Trailblazer and UK Shared Prosperity Fund programmes.
STEP can offer residents (who have barriers to employment), one-to-one support to employment and access to work. The offer is open to anyone with the following criteria:
- Recourse to public funds
- Right to live and work in the UK
- Enfield residents
- Aged 16 and over
- Faces barriers to accessing employment including:
- skills gaps such as digital, language or functional
- childcare needs
- health needs
- housing needs
- financial needs

How STEP advisers support you
STEP advisers will guide you through your route to employment by offering:
- CV Support
- interview and job search support
- signposting to relevant local educational or training provision
- access to local vacancies
- digital skills support
- subsidised travel and childcare support
