Connecting job seekers and employers
Enfield Council organises at least two large recruitment days annually. These are typically held in early summer and autumn.
These events are designed to connect local employers with potential candidates. This is to create a platform for businesses to meet and engage with a diverse talent pool.
The recruitment days also feature workshops and networking sessions aimed at helping job seekers enhance their skills and gain insights into various industries. To make sure that everyone can take part, these events are widely publicised within the community.
Businesses are encouraged to take part, reinforcing the council's commitment to fostering strong local employment connections and building a thriving workforce.
Training providers at these events are limited to those offering vocational courses, tailored to the needs of local employers – making sure of relevance and practicality for job seekers and employers alike.
