Governor advice and support
We offer a high-quality service that gives up-to-date advice on all aspects of school governance. Our experienced team includes officers with many years of expertise. Volunteer governors receive guidance on legal matters and can speak to us about any concerns they may have along the way.
We also use a platform called GovernorHub to support governing boards. It brings everything together in one place – such as storing documents, managing calendars, and accessing training.
Recruitment of governors
We are always looking for new school governors and work to match suitable candidates with available roles. We regularly advertise, run recruitment campaigns, and share updates through our social media channels.
Clerking Service
Our clerks help make sure meetings run smoothly. Many of them have a background in education and continue clerking because they care about supporting schools. We’re proud to say that over 95% of the feedback we receive is positive.
Training and governance reviews
We offer a yearly training programme that takes place both in-person and online. We also work with other boroughs to bring a wider range of views and experiences to our discussions. All our trainers are experienced and quality-assured.
Each summer, we host a governor conference. It is a great chance to meet others, share ideas, and develop professionally. These events are always popular and well received.
