Admission to secondary school 2027
If your child is in Year 6 of primary school in September 2026, you will need to apply for them to start their secondary education for September 2026. You can register and apply online at eAdmissions. Online admissions open on 1 September 2026. The application deadline is 31 October 2026. Places at all Enfield secondary schools will be allocated in line with the published admissions arrangements, which can be found in Your guide to secondary schools in Enfield (PDF, 3913.33 KB).
Secondary school open evening dates
If you live in Enfield and your child was born between 1 September 2015 and 31 August 2016, you will need to apply for a secondary school place for September 2027. From 1 September 2026, you can make your secondary transfer application online at eAdmissions.

Schools will be holding open evenings (PDF, 1114.3 KB) for parents to visit in September and October 2026. Please check the websites of schools you are interested in for further details. You may need to register with the school directly to attend.

Education, health and care plans
If your child has an education, health and care plan (EHCP), the arrangements for your child’s transfer will be different. The SEN Service team will contact you directly to explain the process further.
