If your child is in year six of primary school in September 2024, you will need to apply for them to start their secondary education for September 2025. You can register and apply online at eAdmissions. Online admissions opened on 1 September 2024. The application deadline was 31 October 2024. Applications can still be made after this date but will be treated as late applications. You can view guidance in our step-by-step guide to applying online (PDF, 292.84 KB).
Places at all Enfield secondary schools will be allocated in line with the published admissions arrangements, which can be found in our guide to secondary schools booklet (PDF, 4630.35 KB).
For information about the breakdown of allocations at Enfield Schools for children starting in Year 7 for the previous 4 years, view our Secondary transfer previous allocations breakdown leaflet (PDF, 278.03 KB).
Medical criterion
If you would like your application to be considered under the medical criterion, see our medical priority guidance. Note that not all schools have this as part of their admission arrangements.
If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), the arrangements for your child’s transfer will be different. The SEN Service team will contact you directly to explain the process further.
