Help and advice if you're struggling to pay business rates
If you're struggling to pay your business rates, please contact us straight away to discuss your situation. We may be able to agree a more affordable payment arrangement with you.
Please call 020 8379 4766 or send an email to revs@enfield.gov.uk and put your business rates account number (<4xxxxxxx>), within pointed brackets in the subject box.
You may be entitled to a relief or an exemption from your business rates. To find out if you're entitled, see Business rates relief.
There are other organisations outside of the council that offer free, confidential, and expert debt and budgeting advice:
- Business Debt Line provides a free debt advice service for the self-employed and small businesses. Call 0800 197 6026, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
- Step Change offers free and expert advice regarding all types of debts and will help you get the support you need. Call 0800 138 1111, Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm and Saturday 8am to 4pm.
- National Debt Line is a free independent debt advice service that can help and support you to deal with debts yourself. Call 0808 808 4000, Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm and Saturday 9:30am to 1pm.
- Money Helper offers free and independent advice on all financial matters, including benefits and debt advice. Call 0800 138 7777, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
