More COVID-19 testing provision for Enfield

A third testing site is set to open this week in Enfield, allowing people to book appointments in advance to get fast and critical swab tests for COVID-19.

Raynham Road Car Park in Edmonton, N18 2SJ, will be converted into a testing site, with a soft launch starting on Wednesday 9 September. It is expected to provide more than 360 tests per day.

There will be Turkish, Somali Polish and Bengali speakers on site to help those who do not have English as a first language.

The site will not operate as a car park while testing is taking place there.

Other testing sites in Enfield are:

Lee Valley Athletics Park
Lee Valley is a fixed testing centre and is drive in only.
Testing is available every day by appointment only.

Edmonton Green (North car park)
Edmonton Green is a Mobile Testing Location. Testing is available on various days throughout the week
Appointments are available between 10:30am -3:30pm on the testing dates
Testing is by appointment only for walk in or drive in.

Lodge Drive Car Park, Palmers Green, N13 5UB
Lodge Drive is a Mobile Testing Location. Testing is available on various days times throughout the week
Appointments are available between 10:30am -3:30pm on the testing dates
Testing is by appointment only for walk in or drive in

Residents who require a test should book here before turning up at a testing site.  
If you suspect you have COVID-19 the symptoms to look out for are:
* A new and continuous cough
* A high temperature
* A loss or change in taste and/or smell

Important Information to note

* Bookings will only become available after 8pm the night before the day you want to visit, trying to book before this time may result in your closest test centre not being displayed.
* The booking portal can become very busy, if you cannot get through on your first attempt please keep trying as there are plenty of spaces available.
* Testing Centres operate by appointment only, one appointment is required per person. For example, If there are four people in one car that want to be tested four appointments must be booked
* If you do not have an appointment you are likely be turned away and told to make an appointment online.
* Appointments are for drive in and walk in. When booking a ‘walk in’ appointment you will still be prompted to enter a car registration, please select ‘unknown’ to proceed with your booking.
