Families invited to fun Community Engagement Day

Residents of Snells Park Estate in Upper Edmonton, N18 are being invited to a fantastic family fun-filled Community Engagement Day.

The event will take place on Tuesday 24 August from 11am-3pm.

Children are welcome to join in the fun and the activities planned include face painting, a bouncy castle and free goodies.

The event is also great opportunity for residents to meet their Council-funded Police Safer Estates Team, local anti-social behaviour officers and Council housing teams.

Advice will be available on burglary prevention and how to keep safe.

Cllr Nneka Keazor, Cabinet Member for Community Safety Cohesion said, “I would like to encourage as many Snells Park Estate residents as possible to drop in and join us for our Community Engagement Day.

“The day is a great opportunity for our residents to get to know each other, to meet local police and Council staff and to find out more about the vital work we’re doing to keep our residents and the local community safe in Upper Edmonton.

“There will also be a chance to ask any questions you may have on community safety and to find out more about how we are tackling anti-social behaviour.”

The Community Engagement Day has been organised in partnership with Enfield Council, the Metropolitan Police and the Enfield Safer and Stronger Communities Board.
