Register now to sign up to Enfield’s 2026 Summer Uni Programme

The annual Enfield Council Summer Uni is back for 2026, once again offering young people more than 80 skill-enhancing courses for free.

Taking place across the borough from 20 July to 21 August, each week will have an exciting theme to help young people build confidence, explore new opportunities and gain real-life skills.

Young people aged between 11 and 19 (up to 25 with SEND), who live or attend a school in Enfield, are encouraged to participate and register online before booking onto courses.

The five-week programme is jam-packed with activities, spanning creative arts, music, sports, culinary, beauty and more.

From Comic Creators Academy, where young people can learn to draw manga-style comics, to Laced Up Design Camp, where they customise their own brand-new Nike Air Force 1 trainers, Summer Uni is designed to engage young people and help discover their strengths.

Cabinet Member for Children’s Services, Cllr Chris Dey, said: “Young people are the future of our borough and it is only right we give them programmes like Summer Uni to explore different paths and experience new activities.

“As a borough, we want to ensure we are equipping them with the right skills so they can unlock their full potential.

“We are offering a variety of hands-on courses and have made sure, in partnership with our Young Leaders, these are of interest to our young people.

“This much-loved programme continues to grow in popularity each year, providing opportunities that support young people’s creativity, confidence and future ambitions.

“We are proud to say there is something for everybody.”

Registration is open now and courses are now live for young people to choose from. All participants must register in advance.

Enfield Council is committed to creating opportunities for young people to increase their chances of future success.
