Street Cleaning Operative
The council has opened doors for me to get my Class 2 driving licence, which enables me to drive large vehicles. My job is to help keep the borough clean and do a variety of different roles depending on the shift and season.
Normally, I work cleaning the gully's across the borough, but in the winter season, I can be called out to grit roads. I often work on a weekend when I can change roles and work in the street cleaning department.
