Priorities for now and the future
Social Value means making sure everything the council does benefits local people and improves daily life for residents. When we spend money, buy services, or make decisions, we think about the real difference it will make. This approach guides how we work with businesses, charities, community groups, and residents – now and in the future.
Social value is something we all share responsibility for. The Social Value Policy (PDF, 9268.9 KB) gives a clear plan for how we will work together with residents, businesses, and community organisations to deliver benefits for Enfield that are meaningful, measurable, and long‑lasting.
Our approach is based on six main priorities:
- Strong, safe, and healthy communities
- Thriving children and young people
- Inclusive economic growth
- More and better homes
- Clean spaces
- Green places
