How to save energy

Tips on how to save energy

Many people are struggling to afford their energy bills, especially with higher fuel prices. We want all Enfield residents to stay safe and warm. Here are some ways to help lower your energy costs.

Get energy advice

The cost of living crisis is putting many families under pressure. Do not be left in the cold.

Home Energy Efficiency Training (HEET) is working with Citizens Advice Enfield and Enfield Voluntary Action to support residents through the winter months. HEET offers free home visits to provide energy saving advice, help with bills, switching suppliers and accessing discounts.

If you use a pre-payment meter, fuel vouchers are available from Citizens Advice Enfield, Enfield Council, and the North Enfield Food Bank to help you get through the winter.

To book a free HEET Home Energy Efficiency Assessment:

HEET can also refer you to the Warm Homes Local Grant Scheme for larger energy efficiency improvements, subject to eligibility.

Shine is an energy advice service that offers support over the phone and can arrange in-person visits to help you reduce your energy use.
