Enfield Give and Take events
Give and Take events help good‑quality items find a new home instead of going in the bin. Bring items you no longer need and take anything that is useful to you. Entry is free, and all items at the event are free to take. You do not need to bring a donation to take something.
These events are similar to a bring‑and‑buy sale, but without money. They help reduce waste, save money and support more sustainable choices.

Why Give and Take matters
Thanks to generous donations from residents and staff, we gave away 588 items in 2024 and 798 items in 2025. These items might otherwise have ended up in the bin.
Our 2025 events were very popular and received positive feedback in person and on social media. Because of this success, we are running more Give and Take events in 2026 and beyond.
