Community hubs is a face-to-face service that connects residents with support across 4 pillars:
Help with money:
- Refer residents facing financial difficulties to welfare support services
- Provide debt advice and Council Tax support
- Aim to stabilize income and prevent further financial distress
Help with health and wellbeing:
- Connect residents to health programmes and initiatives
- Promote health drop-ins for on-the-spot health testing
- Encourage participation in social support groups like Coffee & Chat to reduce isolation and improve mental well-being
Help with jobs and skills:
- Link residents to training programmes that lead to stable employment
- Offer ESOL classes to improve English language skills and expand job opportunities
Help with housing stability:
