Legal Foundations is a not-for-profit service that helps start-ups and small businesses get the legal support they need.
Run by experienced lawyers, it provides free templates, guides and practical advice to help businesses create contracts, policies and other legal documents. If more specialist support is needed, businesses can also be connected with trusted legal experts.
Made Smarter Programme
The Made Smarter Adoption programme helps manufacturing businesses use digital technology to improve growth, productivity and sustainability.
Businesses can apply for:
- leadership and management training with Brunel University London
- workforce development training with King's College London
- fully funded 12-week internships through Brunel University London
- grant funding to support digital projects
The programme is delivered by London & Partners on behalf of the Greater London Authority.

It includes:

GrantFinder is a funding database that helps businesses find grants and other funding opportunities from the UK and around the world.
Funding opportunities include:
- charitable trusts
- societies
- research councils
- government programmes
- corporate sponsors
Enfield Library members can access GrantFinder by visiting an Enfield library and speaking to a member of staff.
Productive Valley Fund
The Productive Valley Fund (PVF) provides flexible loans to help businesses grow and invest in their future.
The fund supports small and medium-sized businesses based on industrial estates in:
- Enfield
- Haringey
- Waltham Forest
It is also open to businesses planning to move to the Upper Lee Valley.
