You may have overpaid your Council Tax and received a bill that shows you are in credit.
If we have closed your Council Tax account and you pay by Direct Debit, we will refund the credit back to your bank account. This may not be the case if you have other debts to the council. If we do not have your bank account details on file, you will need to email firstname.lastname@example.org to request a refund.
If you have closed your Council Tax account online and your account is showing a credit, you will need to email email@example.com to request a refund. Make sure the subject of your email includes your Council Tax number inside angled brackets, for example <12345678>.
