Where to get help and support

Enfield Parent Infant Partnership

Enfield Parent Infant Partnership (EPIP) is a therapeutic service that works with parents and their babies where parents are worried about their relationship together and where the family would benefit from therapeutic intervention to help them enable and strengthen their bond.

Through a more secure bond, babies can have a better beginning, feel safe and confident, which then sets them up to be more confident children.

EPIP clinicians work with parents and their babies, listening to and thinking about the parents' own experiences, mental health worries and concerns that may be impacting their feelings about being with their babies. The clinician also attends together, with the parents, to the babies cues, needs and communications, so they can also feel understood.

EPIP clinicians aim to enable a relationship that feels more attuned for both parents and their babies and works towards enabling them to enjoy one another.
