Evergreen Dental in Edmonton provides a specialist dental service for children and adults with disability and mental illness.
To be eligible, patients must:
- have severe physical or medical disabilities
- have severe learning difficulties or severe mental illnesses
- have blood-borne viruses that cannot be inoculated against
- be housebound
- be terminally ill
- be under 6 and otherwise fit and healthy, but with high levels of dental cavities
How to see a specialist dentist
Patients need a referral to use this specialist dental service.
Referrals are accepted from dentists, doctors or health professionals involved in a patient’s care. There will be a waiting time of at least 3 months.
