The following information will help you find accessible venues and toilets in Enfield.
Accessible venues in Enfield
AccessAble provides information on wheelchair friendly venues, disabled access and facilities. There is also a free app to use AccessAble on the go.
Changing places
Changing Places Toilets support people with profound and multiple learning disabilities or physical disabilities, such as spinal injuries, muscular dystrophy and multiple sclerosis, who may need extra equipment and space to use toilets safely and comfortably.
Albany Leisure Centre has an H-frame hoist (you must bring your own sling), a height adjustable changing bed, toilet and shower. However, the toilet does not meet Places Standards, as it only has room for one supporter. It is open to the public.
The Community Toilet Scheme is a borough-wide scheme to provide clean, safe and accessible public toilets in more convenient locations for residents and visitors. Several of the premises offer wheelchair access.
The RADAR National Key Scheme also ensures that people with disabilities have easy access to over 7,000 locked public toilets around the country.
