The annual governor awards ceremony is a celebration of the work of governors, the acknowledgement of contribution made and the achievement of young people. Nominations are for the:
- Governor Award 4 Young People
- Outstanding Governor Contribution
The awards are presented by the Chief Education Officer, the Mayor of Enfield and the Cabinet Member for Education and Children’s Services.
Governor Award 4 Young People
A Governor Award 4 Young People is awarded to a pupil in celebration of how they contribute to the life and community of their school and how they promote community cohesion.
Outstanding Governor Contribution
The Outstanding Governor Contribution award is given to a governor who has made a significant individual contribution to the improvement of their school through high expectations, purpose driven leadership and effective relationships.
