To run a hairdressing business, you will need to register with us and comply with local health and safety rules. You may also be required to have a copy of the certificate of registration and the byelaws displayed in your premises.
To provide beauty treatments at your premises in addition to hairdressing, you will need a separate licence.
It is a criminal offence to carry out unlicensed activities and, if convicted, you could be given a £1,000 fine.
