This hour long session being held via Teams is for anyone who works with adults with care and support needs who may self-neglect.
Elspeth Smith, Adult Social Care’s Safeguarding Adults Practice Lead, and David Pennington, Director of Safeguarding, NCL ICB, will lead this hour long and online session for anyone who works with adults with care and support needs who may self-neglect.
The purpose of the session is to run through the benefits of multi-agency working with adults who are or appear to be self neglecting- as well as highlighting the work of the High Risk Advisory Panel and how you might refer a case that you are concerned about in. There are also some tips and guidance around running effective multi-disciplinary meetings.
Colleagues who attended the SAR Learning event on 12th June will have seen this material (though are welcome to attend for a refresher).
