A public meeting on kerb crawling and prostitution is being held by Enfield Council where members of the public will be able to voice their concerns openly.
There has been growing unease that prostitution and kerb crawling in Edmonton is becoming more common, specifically along Fore Street and surrounding roads, and in turn is bringing other forms of anti-social behaviour to the area.
The event takes place at Community House, 311 Fore Street, N9 0PZ, on Saturday 3 November at 12pm until 2pm. Enfield Council is encouraging members of the public to share their views and to learn about what the Council and its partners are doing to tackle this issue. In addition, there will be a discussion on how we are supporting victims associated with these activities.
Enfield Council officers will be joined by the Cabinet Member for Community Safety and Cohesion, Cllr Nneka Keazor, the Metropolitan Police Force and Enfield’s Safer and Stronger Communities Board (SSCB).
