Fireworks return to Enfield

The fireworks at Enfield Town Park are back.

November is set to arrive with a bang, a whizz and a sparkle after the borough’s annual fireworks display was confirmed to take place in Enfield Town Park.

The popular event, which returns after an absence of four years, will feature fireworks, a fun fair and food and is being organised by Enfield Council. It will take place between 5-9pm on 2 November.

Tickets cost £5 for children or £8 for adults, with discounts for families or larger parties, and can be obtained here

Enfield Council’s Deputy Leader, Cllr Ian Barnes, said: “We’re really excited that we’re continuing to develop our varied programme of events in the borough, and aim to bring the community together through them.

“The Enfield Fireworks have been an institution for years and I shared our residents’ sense of sadness when they were cancelled, it is brilliant news that we’ve been able to bring them back."

“I hope people will come along and enjoy this iconic event supported by the Scouts who do such a sterling job of providing high quality provision for young people in our borough.”

Enfield Scouts have agreed to supply some volunteer stewards on the night to support this great community event.

An Enfield Scouts spokesperson said: "We are pleased the Council reached out to us to support their event. This is a great opportunity to bring the community together and we continue to work closely with Enfield Council in the future. We wish everyone a happy and safe night."
