Celebrate Pride Month with a bold lineup at the Dugdale Arts Centre

This June, Dugdale Arts Centre (DAC) is bursting with creativity as it celebrates Pride Month with a vibrant series of free events designed to entertain, empower and connect with the local community.

Running from 14 June to 4 July, the Pride programme features an exciting mix of creative workshops, live performances and hands-on experiences, led by an inspiring group of diverse artists.

Each programme explores the rich world of queer performance. From burlesque dance skills to drag make-up, there's something for everyone, and it’s all free.

Cllr Chinelo Anyanwu, Cabinet Member for Culture and Inclusion, said: “Pride Month is an incredibly important time for Enfield. It’s a chance to celebrate love, identity, and community. We hope residents take full advantage of this fun, inclusive and thought-provoking programme, and also reflect on the rich history and ongoing journey of LGBTQ+ rights.”

Some of the activities are made possible through The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).

Further information about Enfield Council’s LGBTQ+ network can be found on the Council’s website.

Pride Month is a month-long observance dedicated to the celebration of LGBTQ pride, commemorating the contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer culture and community.
