Third parenting app launched in Enfield to offer free early years support

EasyPeasy, an app to help support parents, carers, and early years practitioners, has launched in Enfield.

As part of Enfield Council’s commitment to supporting local families and parents in the early stages of their child’s development, Enfield Council has appointed EasyPeasy to turn everyday parenting moments into playful learning activities.

EasyPeasy brings together the best ideas, advice, and inspiration from a diverse community of parents, experts, and brands supporting families and their 0-5-year-olds.

Parents can access thousands of simple, fun, and educational parenting tips and activities, adapted to their child’s age and development stage.

Easy Peasy is the third parenting app to be made available by Enfield’s Family Hubs team, following the successful introduction of Anya and Qwell. These online platforms offer information, activities, and tips on a range of topics, including wellbeing, bedtime routines, speech development, and more.

Cllr Abdul Abdullahi, Cabinet Member for Children’s Services, said: “We’re working hard to support families across Enfield. Over the past few months, we have invested in digital support to help adults, new parents, and families with parenting and mental well-being here in Enfield. The EasyPeasy app also allows parents and carers to create and share their own parenting tips, building support systems in local communities.”

Jen Lexmond, Founder and CEO of Easy-peasy, said: "We’re delighted to have launched EasyPeasy in Enfield. Our mission at EasyPeasy is to support parents during their children’s early years by empowering them with knowledge, inspiration, and ideas, and we are proud that since 2017, we have helped bridge the gap in school readiness across 200,000 families nationwide."

EasyPeasy has been commissioned as part of Enfield Council’s Start for Life offer, funded by the Department of Education.
