Wilbury Way open space wetlands

Details

The open space has natural play features and a small football pitch. However, poor land drainage leads to seasonal flooding and makes part of it unusable. Our proposals were aimed helping drain the wet areas and improving the habitat, as well as reconnecting the space with the Pymmes Brook and help make this a better place for nature, without losing any of the existing amenity features.

Who could participate

All residents, local groups, schools and other users of the park are welcome to participate.

How the consultation was delivered

All residents, local groups, schools and other users of the park were asked to complete a questionnaire.
