Details

Edmonton is the highest flood risk area in the borough, with over 7,000 properties at risk. Flooding can pose significant challenges to our community, impacting homes, infrastructure, and the overall quality of life. To address these challenges, the Council is aiming to improve community flood resilience within Edmonton through understanding local experiences of flood risk and circulating information within the community on what to do in the event of flooding, how to prepare and how to recover.

We want to improve our understanding of local flood risk through a short questionnaire. Your knowledge and experiences will really help with this. Your input is important for making our community better prepared for potential floods.

This questionnaire is designed to find out your understanding and opinion on flood risk, and if you've ever dealt with flooding. We also want to know which organisations you think manage flood risks and how much you know about what to do before, during, and after a flood.

Following this questionnaire, join us for our community engagement event to learn how to best protect yourself and your community from flood incidents. This will be taking place in the community rooms in Edmonton Green Library on 29 June 2024 from 1:30pm – 4:30pm. Please email flooding@enfield.gov.uk to register your interest.

Who can participate?

Residents living in the Edmonton Green and Lower Edmonton areas.

How can you share your views?
