You can use this form to tell us about any other relevant pension scheme membership which could provide protection under the McCloud remedy.

What is a public service pension scheme?

A public service pension scheme is a UK pension scheme for:

• civil servants
• the judiciary
• the armed forces
• local government workers
• health service workers
• teachers
• fire and rescue workers
• members of the police force

To determine if you are eligible for this protection and to ensure your pension benefits are calculated accurately, you need to tell us about any membership you hold within other public service pension schemes – which you haven’t transferred into the London Borough of Enfield Pension Fund.

We will use the information you provide to find out whether you are protected by the McCloud remedy. We may need to ask for more information from you or your previous pension administrator.

You only need to fill in the form if:

• you were a member of a public service pension scheme before you joined the LGPS in the Enfield Pension Fund
• you first joined a public service pension scheme before 31 March 2012

What you need to know

• Your personal details, including National Insurance number
• The details of your previous public service pension membership
• The dates you were active within these schemes
• Whether scheme contributions were refunded
• Your email address so we can confirm your protection eligibility or ask for further information

You do not need to complete the form if:

• you first joined a public service pension scheme after 31 March 2012
• you joined the LGPS with the Enfield Pension Fund after 31 March 2022
• you are/were a councillor member in the Enfield Pension Fund
• you were a member of a public service pension scheme before you joined the Enfield Pension Fund, but that membership has been transferred to us
