Enfield Council is pleased to launch the ‘Enfield Together Fund 2025’ for registered charities, voluntary organisations and community groups in Enfield.
We are providing £200,000, funded by the UK government, to offer immediate crisis support to those most in need, helping with the rising cost of living.
We understand that the cost of living is affecting many people and communities in our borough. This fund aims to help local organisations continue or expand their essential services related to food, energy and water, for Enfield’s most vulnerable residents.
We encourage local groups and organisations already working hard to support and bring people together to bid for grants.
Each group or organisation can bid for up to £30,000, with a minimum bid of £10,000. Due to limited funds, we cannot support projects involving very small amounts. Instead, small-scale projects should, where possible, be packaged together into larger programmes, with a clear explanation of their benefits and who they will help.
Guidance for applicants
Who can bid
If you're a local registered charity, voluntary organisation, or community group based or operating in Enfield, including grassroots and faith groups, you are welcome to bid.
What the grant can be used for
The grant can be used for:
- food and food support
- energy and water bills
- essentials related to energy, food and water
- other essentials, such as broadband or phone bills, clothing, period and hygiene products, and transport-related costs, like car repairs, buying a bicycle, or fuel
What do bids need to demonstrate
You need to explain how you will use the funding to meet the needs of the most vulnerable people in the community during this crisis. Provide a clear picture of your project goals, how the funding will help achieve these goals, and who will benefit from the funding.
Applicants must be operating in Enfield and must inform recipients of the funds that the funding was provided by the UK Government.
What else you need to provide in the application form
We aim to keep the process simple, but we need some details so we can keep you and those you want to support safe. This may include public liability insurance, safeguarding or other policies, and hygiene certificates if applicable.
If you're not an established community organisation but have a great proposal, please still apply.
