We appreciate that during this difficult time you will have to make important decisions about the cemetery and the grave that you want for the funeral.
Normally, your funeral director will help you make the necessary arrangements for you to buy a grave. To make your own arrangements for the funeral, you can contact us directly. We will be happy to advise you.

Buying a plot for burial or cremated remains
New graves can be purchased in Strayfield Road Cemetery and Edmonton Cemetery at the time of burial.
Plots for cremated remains
New Gardens Of Rest plots can be purchased in all of our cemeteries. Gardens of remembrance are available in Edmonton and Lavender Hill Cemeteries . Ashes can also be buried or scattered within existing graves.

Search burial records
You can request a search of the burial records, however there is a fee for this service. Please telephone the Cemetery Registrar on 020 8379 3767 for further information.
Unfortunately members of the public do not have access to the burial records that are kept at the Civic Centre. However records are availabe at Edmonton Cemetery or Lavender Hill Cemetery which can be searched by appointment only. Please note there will be a charge for this.
