There are over 17 Enfield libraries to join and one museum to visit across the borough. Some libraries also provide services to help you with your homework.

If you need help with your homework either pop into one of our Homework Clubs where staff can help you out with homework, or relax from the comfort of your own home using our 24 hour Virtual Library. It's all free, all you need is a library card.

Did you know...

Enfield Libraries and Museum service has a dedicated Local Studies Unit at the Dugdale Centre - Thomas Hardy House, 39 London Road, Enfield, EN2 6DS.

Here you can use the latest FREE online resources such as Ancestry.com and Find My Past (including 1911 Census) free of charge to help you with your family and local history research as well as traditional resources such as local books, newspapers, maps, and much more.

Enfield Museum

There is one museum supported and run by Enfield Council - The Enfield Museum.

Found on the ground and first floor of the Dugdale Centre in Thomas Hardy House, 39 London Road, Enfield EN2 6DS this exciting place brings together and celebrates the history and diversity of Enfield.

The museum is open from Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 1pm. Entrance is free. Disabled access is available throughout the whole museum.
