This service is specifically for parents, carers, guardians, support workers and young people. It focuses on young people with specific needs, mild / moderate learning difficulties and mild / moderate disabilities. We offer this service to young people between the ages of 11 and 24 and support them with life skills, social activities, integration with mainstream provision and education and employment advice.
The Thursday Club runs every Thursday during term time from 7.00pm - 9.00pm The young people attending are aged between 11 - 18 years and all have minor/moderate learning difficulties.
The Friday Club runs every Friday during term time from 8.00pm - 10.00pm
The young people attending are aged between 18 - 25 years and all have minor/moderate learning difficulties. Those young people who attend Thursday Club will be allocated an automatic place at Friday Club once they reach 18 years of age.
The Holiday Club runs during the Easter and Summer School Holidays, Monday -Thursday 10.00am-4.00pm. The club runs for one week over Easter and three weeks over Summer and is open to young people aged 11-25 years who have learning difficulties.
All of the above provision runs to planned programmes of activities that are designed to develop the young people’s life skills and independence in enjoyable and creative ways.
