The draft Parks and Open Spaces Strategy is now out for consultation. From now until the 3rd March 2010, the Council would like to know what you have to say about the future of our parks and open spaces, such as allotments and cemeteries.
Children’s CD gives heart to Haiti
Children at Galliard Primary School in Edmonton N9, raised over £1850 for the Haiti appeal. At a recent school council meeting children said that they wanted to do something positive for the appeal.

The borough wide Community Toilet Scheme, which aims to give people better access to toilet facilities that are clean, safe and accessible in convenient shopping centre locations for both residents and visitors, is being extended for another year.
Making life easier for the over 65s
Enfield residents aged 65 and over, who have not already registered for this service, can now get some extra support when they register with the council’s ‘prevention intervention’ team for a general health and well-being assessment.
Forty Hall Park wins initial support for £1.3m bid
The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) has given the green light to Enfield Council to work up a £1.3m bid to conserve and restore the grounds of Forty Hall Park, it was announced today. Development funding of £100,000 was awarded to help progress their plans.
