CACEY, Enfield’s Community Access Childcare and Early Years team has just been accredited to the Matrix standard for delivering quality services to Enfield families and childcare professionals.

Matrix is the quality standard for information, advice and guidance services and is awarded to those who can demonstrate that they involve their clients and work with partners to deliver a continually improving service.

Cllr Glynis Vince, cabinet member for education, children’s services and youth, said, “The matrix standard is an independent assessment. It means that families can be reassured that they will get up to date information, helpful advice and a friendly approach. Well done to all concerned.”

Sandie Gardner – one of the Acting Heads of Service said, “As a service that is committed to putting Enfield families first we knew that we had to talk to parents, and childcare providers and listen to their views.

“We found that by joining up our services into one integrated team we were in a stronger position to respond to their needs and provide advice, guidance and training to enable the individual to make an informed choice. I am delighted that the Matrix assessor recognised this as one of our major strengths.
