Echoes of the Olympics lingered on at Lee Valley Athletics Centre in Edmonton last week, when Stewart Holton, outgoing Chief Executive of Enfield Homes, officially passed the baton to new boss Bob Heapy as he prepared to take the reins of the organisation.

Bob, who was previously Chief Executive of private organisation 'Partnerships For Improvement in Camden', and Assistant Director for the London Borough of Newham, was more than willing to seize the baton.

He said “I am delighted and proud to be taking over as Chief Executive of Enfield Homes, and to build on the good work done by Stewart.

“My priorities now are helping Enfield Homes gain two stars in its inspection; to do this we will need to continue to work with our key partners, including residents, and build our reputation as a listening and learning organisation.”

Stewart Holton, who has enjoyed his time at Enfield Homes, said he has no hesitation about passing the baton to Bob, he said “Its been great seeing Enfield Homes through the period of its launch and early development. I have worked with some fantastic staff and residents and an outstanding Board.

“I feel as though I am leaving the organisation in good hands with the arrival of Bob, and that Enfield Homes is on track for great things in the future.”
