School shows Ten-acity for Sports Relief

It’s sports relief day and Suffolks Primary School in Enfield Highway intends to raise £300.

Children, staff and parents are exercising throughout the day taking ten -minute workouts and paying for the privilege.

Their ‘Take10athon’ is taking ten-minute daily exercise to new heights with a continuous programme of dance routines to provide physical fitness, co-ordination and concentration.

Performing to the disco styles of the 70s - right through to today’s hip-hop and rapping hits, classes will be taking it in turns to gyrate and raise some money.

Pupils and staff are paying £1 to come to school wearing their sports kits and paying 50p for healthy snacks during the day.
