Ethics – its not just a county
Date and Time of Publication:- 2008-03-07 16:24:51Enfield Council is looking for a new member for its Independent Standards Committee to help ensure councilors continue to the authority’s high ethical code.
The new member will work, alongside two independent members and six elected councillors on the Standards Committee.
Borough secretary, John Austin said: The new member of the committee will play a crucial part in maintaining Enfield’s high ethical standards.
“The new member should be able to consider evidence presented to the committee and contribute effectively to its discussions and decisions and have a good knowledge of the Borough and its communities.”
Although this is not a paid position, the Council pays reasonable expenses.
