A week celebrating and thanking carers

Next week sees the annual ‘Carers Week’ celebration which will highlight the contribution of the estimated 29,000 carers in Enfield.

Kicking off with a trip to Capel Manor, the week sees events and information days, plus a special Question and Answer session headed by Ray James, Director of Health and Adult Social Care.

The week’s events are:

Monday 9th June 2008

Capel Manor

Bullsmoor Lane, Enfield, EN1 4RQ

10.30am till 5.00pm

Spend the day and wander around the lovely peaceful gardens at Capel Manor. Guided tours will be available.

Free entrance.

Palace Exchange Shopping Centre, (near Marks & Spencer), Enfield Town.

Carers Event

Park Avenue Resource Centre, 65c Park Avenue, Enfield, EN1 2HH

4.00pm till 8.00pm

Come and find out about the development of the Carers Centre, and Park Avenue’s facilities and resources.

Complementary therapies available throughout the afternoon, exercise classes, refreshments, buffet and entertainment.
