The Royal British Legion (Enfield) Remembrance Day Parade

Sunday 10 November 2013

•2.45pm - Parade begins from Trinity Street Enfield
•Parade arrives at Chase Green War Memorial
•A Service of Remembrance will be held, and wreaths laid
•The Parade will march towards the Civic Centre
•Arrival at Royal British Legion HQ for reception
•End approximately 5pm

Sunday 10 November 2013

•10.15am – Meet at Fore Street Car Park
• Parade to War Memorial on the Green
•Service on the Green and laying of wreaths
•March to Croyland Road for Mayor’s Speech
•March to Hertford Sports Club for reception
•End approximately 2pm

Southgate Remembrance Parade and Service

Sunday 10 November

10.15am - Remembrance Day Parade and Service at St Andrew’s Church, Southgate

Monday 11 November

10.30am - Armistice Day Service at The Remembrance Garden, Broomfield Park

Saturday 16 November

11.15am - Association of Jewish Ex-Service Men and Women Remembrance Service at The Synagogue, Old Farm Avenue, N14 5QR

Members of the public are invited to line the route of the marches.

Enfield Council Leader Cllr Doug Taylor said “Once again it is time to remember all those who served or gave their lives in conflict for the cause of freedom.

“We also remember civilians who were or still are caught up in the devastation that it causes.

“I know that the people of Enfield will want to take part in this occasion to commemorate the lives of those we have lost in borough and will show their commitment to our service men and women.”
