28, 29 and 30 October – two sessions per day

Half term is fast approaching, and if you have six to 12 year olds why not bring them to the ‘Creatures of the New River Workshops’ which are happening at Enfield Museum in the Dugdale Centre, and enjoy some watery storytelling and crafts, and a chance to find out what might be lurking in the unknown world of the New River!

The New River celebrates its 400th birthday this year, so what better way to join in the fun than taking part in these fun workshops. Come on in and get your creative juices flowing!

There will be two sessions per day, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm. Spaces are limited to 20 children per session  (plus accompanying adults).

Tickets are £4 per child and booking is essential.

Cllr Bambos Charalambous, Enfield Council’s Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure, Youth and Localism said “The New River celebrates 400 years this year, and is neither new nor a river! This event tells its story in a fun way for children and young people to enjoy.

“Why not sign up for one of the sessions, and see what crazy creatures lurk beneath the surface?”
