Enfield Autumn Show celebrates 60 Years!

Enfield Council’s Autumn Show celebrates 60 fabulous years in September, and this time around award winning artists, dancers and musicians from right across Enfield will be taking centre stage at the festival.

Some of the fabulous acts to entertain the crowds will be Lurine Cato. Lurine is one of the UK's top Gospel artists and has just returned from the Gospel Awards in Germany where she scooped the award for Best Recorded Song with her 2012 gospel hit ‘You Revive Me’. 

Platinum Performing Arts will perform their winning dance from the ‘Make Your Move’ competition at the O2 last month. They beat 100's of dance groups from across the UK to win the coveted prize.

16 year old Cameron Sanderson is a star of the future and wowed audiences at the Spellbound Festival in Edmonton this summer. He was spotted in 2010 after winning the X Factor competition at Edmonton Green.

They will be joined by an array of Enfield artists including The Bizzaros (Winchmore Hill), Maria  Evangelou (Palmers Green), Warhouse (Ponders End) Josie Taylor and World Runners (Enfield Town).

Artstart and The Source from Edmonton will be providing a full day of interactive craft sessions whilst Face Front Inclusive Theatre Company will entertain with a new drama celebrating 400 of years of The New River.

Cllr Bambos Charalambous, Enfield Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure Culture, Youth and Localism said “It is fantastic to host The Enfield Town Autumn Show again, which is now its 60th year, and to see the host of great talent from right across Enfield.

“There will be something for everyone at the show, music for all tastes and by performers of all ages. So make sure you don’t miss out, and come down to Town Park, and enjoy the show!”
