Social Media Contest Rules

Below are the rules for Enfield Council's great new social media competition which will be featuring in the brand new May edition of the council magazine 'Our Enfield'. Look out for it!!

1. Entry: Contestants will enter by ‘LIKING’ Enfield Council’s Facebook page or ‘FOLLOWING’ Enfield Council’s Twitter page. The winner will be selected at random.

2. Eligibility: This contest is open only to legal UK residents, over the age of 18.

3. Winner selection:  Enfield Council employees will judge the contest. All decisions of the judges are final. Employees and Councillors of Enfield Council and their immediate families are not eligible to enter the competition.

4. Prizes:  The winner will receive a Family Ticket (2 adults and 2 children) for a show of their choice at the Millfield Theatre PLUS a meal for four in the Millfield Bar up to a value of £60 (£15 per head), or a Family Ticket (2 adults and 2 children) for a show of their choice at The Dugdale Centre and ice creams for four in the Dugdale Café.

5. Winner notification: Winners will be notified within 14 days after the 1 August 2013. Please ensure that your message settings allow you to be sent a message or we will not be able to contact you. Inability to contact a winner may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

6. Conduct: All contest participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules.  Enfield Council in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person it finds to be tampering with the entry process, or is otherwise in violation of these rules.

7. Limitations: Enfield Council is not responsible for late, lost or misdirected email or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur.  If for any reason, the contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention or technical failures of any sort, Enfield Council may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest. 

8. Winners: The name of the winner will be displayed on Enfield Council’s Facebook and Twitter page after the winner has been chosen.
