Winning resident rounds off Customer Services Week

Published Thursday 29th October 09

Local resident James Pritchard was a winner this week, when he was picked from 100 other hopefuls.

During Customer Services Week last week everyone who took part in a face to face interview at the Civic Centre and John Wilkes House was entered into a lucky prize draw, and Mr Pritchard was the winner.

Customer Services Week, which ran from the 5th to the 9th of October, was a celebration of customer service professionalism, and a chance to show how the Council is listening to and involving customers in its service delivery.

During the Week Enfield Council ran a number of initiatives such as pioneering being able to drop off benefit forms at libraries and the launch of Customer Satisfaction Surveys on the website.

Mr Pritchard, who is from Palmers Green came to pick up his £20 winning Marks and Spencer voucher from Cllr Henry Pipe, Cabinet Member for Customer Focus.

Cllr Pipe said "It was wonderful to meet our lucky winner Mr Pritchard today."

"Customer Services Week is all about putting the customer first, and ensuring, wherever possible, our services meet their needs."

James Pritchard said "I was pleased when I heard I had got this voucher as I had never won anything before!"
